Susan Boyle to sing for the Pope

Susan Boyle may get to sing for The Pope when he visits the U.K.
Boyle has believed to be about to be approached by the Catholic Church to sing for the Pontiff in September. It will be the first time a Pope has visited Britain since 1982.
A spokesperson from the Catholic Church in Scotland told RTE that 'She certainly would be a great asset to the programme on the day and we hope to be able to discuss the possibility of her participation soon'.
Boyle was meant to be in Australia this week for an appearance at the TV Week Logie Awards but cancelled at the last minute, citing exhaustion.
k.d.lang will replace Boyle at the show.
