The 'Happy’ singer admits she and her friends once stripped off and jumped into a swimming pool during a holiday to Portugal in order to cheer up one of their other pals.

President Barack Obama had yet another celeb come visit this week. Shakira dropped by the White House.

Shakira is also the Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

She met with the President to talk about the United States Governments policy towards children.

The meeting was officially off the record. Shakira was attending a meeting at the White House with the National Security Council and Domestic Policy Council but after the meeting ended, the President agreed to say hello.

The Grammy award winning Columbian singer also made a stop at the World Bank to address childhood poverty.

Paul Dainty, promoter of Abbaworld is offering a $10000 reward for the return the missing Abba jumpsuit.

Agnetha Faltskog wore the jumpsuit during Abba’s 1977 Australian tour. It was given to an airline staff member at the time but its whereabouts is now a mystery.

Dainty is bringing Abbaworld to Melbourne in June marking the first time the exhibition has been outside London.

Abbaworld features 25 rooms containing exclusive footage, start-of-the-art technology and stage costumes from the four members of Abba.

If the missing jumpsuit is found, it will become part of the exhibition.

The 'Come Away With Me’ singer says entering a new decade last year has made her feel more comfortable and much less self-conscious.

She said: 'I definitely feel more at ease than I did in my twenties. I think as you get older, you feel more comfortable with yourself and your decisions and less worried about what other people think.

'I was always a bit of a self-conscious performer and now I have a lot more fun with it instead of getting nervous.'

The 'Sunrise’ hitmaker also believes getting older gives her more to write about because she has so much extra life experience and knowledge.

Speaking about the writing of her new album 'The Fall’, she added: 'It seems like maybe because I’m 30 and all my girlfriends are about the same that everyone’s going through changes at this point in their life, whether it’s getting married, having a baby, breaking up, getting a divorce, getting a dog, all those kinds of things.

'It was surrounding me and I was certainly going through my own things too. There was plenty to draw on.'

The producer and singer, who has worked with Katy Perry, Missy Elliott and Nelly Furtado, admits he takes inspiration from all over the world. 

He said: "I'm definitely a risk taker with my music. I like to challenge the new sounds.

"If I can challenge whatever's out there, then I'm good.

"My style is to take something unexpected and make it into a hit. That's what I do. I have ideas whirring around my head all the time.

"I listen to a lot of weird music. I go to India, yeah. I know Indian people. I know somebody in every culture. I go overseas and gather my sound."

The 38-year-old Grammy Award winner - real name Timothy Zachary Mosley - also claims to have taken inspiration from the Black Eyed Peas song 'I Gotta Feeling' for his track with Katy Perry, 'If We Ever Meet Again'.

Discussing the auto-tuned vocals, he told Culture magazine: "I'm not trying to be the best singer, and I like that it's not perfect.

"I really wanted a song like 'I Gotta Feeling' that would give people that same great feeling when they heard it."

He also suggests that retirement may not be far off.

He said: "I'm not trying to work too much longer. I'm trying to relax and enjoy my old age."
