The band U2, the world’s highest earning act last year, and their manager Paul McGuinness head the Irish Music Millionaires Rich List with a combined wealth of £429m.
The wealth of Michael Flatley, at number 2 in the list, has suffered because of a downturn in the value of The Lord of the Dance brand.
Newcomers to the list of Ireland’s 250 Richest people are the four members of the band Westlife – Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne – who debut with a combined fortune of £31m.
The Sunday Times Rich List 2010, the definitive guide to wealth in Britain and Ireland, is published on April 25 as a 104-page supplement free with this weekend’s Sunday Times.
